Eddie Lane
President, Heli-One

Eddie is the President of Heli-One and was previously the General Manager for European Operations. He became the General Manager for our Norway operations in October 2014 following 3 years as the Finance Director for the largest Helicopter operator in Scandinavia. In addition to aviation, Eddie has held leadership roles in ​consumer goods, Healthcare and Consulting in a variety of countries including Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. He holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Commerce from the University of Natal, South Africa in addition to a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from The University of Manchester.

Carolyn Forsyth 

Carolyn Forsyth
General Manager 
Sales and Marketing 

Carolyn Forsyth is Heli-One’s General Manger of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. She was previously the regional sales director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. In her role, Carolyn oversees the Sales, Marketing and Business Development at Heli-One. Carolyn came to Heli-One after nearly 20 years with Pratt & Whitney Canada, where most recently she was general manager of the company’s Aftermarket Engine Sales and Leasing division. Carolyn’s previous experience includes commercial positions in helicopter operations and maintenance with CHC, Bond Helicopters and Rotortech. Carolyn holds an MBA from McGill University in Montreal and a BCom from Edinburgh University.


Bram van den Berg
General Manager 
Operations Support

Bram joined Heli-One in March 2016 as the General Manager, Operations Support. He has spent the last 16 years with CHC in various roles primarily focused in Operations, Forecasting, Supply Chain Management and Sourcing. Most recently, he was the Director of Strategic Sourcing where he oversaw supplier contracts and OEM relations. At Heli-One, he is responsible for managing MRO support functions including: Inventory Sales, Exchange Asset Management, Safety & Quality, Customer Support, Sourcing, Logistics and Inventory Management. Bram holds a Diploma of Technical Studies (EASA Part 66 AME License) from Anthony Fokker College in The Hague, Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering (specializing in Flight Operations) from Amsterdam College in Amsterdam, Masters in General Management from Nyenrode University in Breukelen, and completed the Management Acceleration Programme from Insead in France. Bram enjoys the dynamic nature and global aspect of working in aviation as well as working with a spectrum of people within the industry from peers, customers, and suppliers. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, surfing, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking.


Ralf Schmidt
General Manager, North American Operations

Ralf is the GM of North American Operations and has been with Heli-One since September 2016. Before becoming GM, he lead the engine and component shops in Canada. He brings over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry, working for MTU Maintenance, MTU Aero Engines, BMW-Rolls-Royce and other engineering facilities in both Canada and Germany. Ralf has an engineering diploma from the University of Ulm, and an Industrial Engineering degree from REFA Institute Darmstadt in Germany.


Tord Torgersen
Managing Director, Heli-One Norway

Tord Torgersen is the Managing Director, Heli-One Norway. Tord has been with Heli-One since 2006, joining us as a Customer Support Manager responsible for Europe, AME and Africa and also had responsibility for the AOG desk for several years. In 2015, he became Manager of Workshops in Stavanger and was promoted in December 2016 to the role of Director of Operations, Norway, where he was responsible for all maintenance and production.

Robert Kyc

Robert Kyc
General Manager, Heli-One Poland

Robert joined Heli-One Poland in July 2014. He has fifteen years of experience with background in aerospace operations, aftermarket support and customer service. He has served for several technology companies, enjoying experience of working at multinational and multicultural environments. Prior assuming responsibility for Heli-One, he headed Hamilton Sundstrand APU engines repair station (green field project). Earlier he led teams in several areas such as Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics and Business Development. Robert earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Rzeszow University of Technology and an MBA degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.


Mark Roesler
Standards and Compliance Manager

Mark Roesler is the Standards and Compliance Manager and has been with Heli-One since July 2013. Mark is a licensed M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and has worked as an AME in the fixed-wing world. Over the years, he took on different roles in leadership and quality management before joining Heli-One in a role within the Safety & Quality department. His role expanded to include oversight of global Supply Chain Safety & Quality, implementation of cost of non-quality analysis and assembly of global S&Q metrics to support management review. In his current capacity as Standards and Compliance Manager, Mark is responsible for standardization of operational and corporate standards and procedures at Heli-One. He is also working to complete his Master in Business Administration in Executive Management with Royal Roads University.


Kirsten Gilje
Director of Business Transformation

Kirsten Gilje is the Director of Business Transformation. Before joining Heli-One, Kirsten was the Finance Director at NECC (Northern Europe, Canada, Caspian Sea). She has an MBA in Finance and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) from the Norwegian School of Finance. She also holds a MSc in Management from the London School of Economics. Kirsten has extensive experience from the telecom industry in Norway and Asia where she worked for 15 years in various Finance/CFO roles, focusing on business development, improvement and performance management. As the Director of Business Transformation, Kirsten is responsible for the overall transformational agenda for Heli-One globally.


Priscilla Shung
Director of Finance

Priscilla is the Director of Finance for Heli-One. She has been with the Heli-One/CHC group for nearly 8 years and previously held the position of Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Priscilla played a key role in reworking processes and operations to ensure accurate information and performance indicators to stakeholders. Priscilla has over 16 years' experience serving in a number of financial leadership roles in a number of organizations and is well versed in global accounting principles.
