August 1, 2017 – Stavanger, Norway - Heli-One, a leading provider of helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, is pleased to announce that Eddie Lane has been appointed as its new President. Eddie had previously been acting as interim President since March of this year.
Mr. Lane initially joined CHC Helicopter, Heli-One’s parent company, as the Finance Director for Norwegian operations before transitioning to Heli-One as the General Manager of Norwegian operations in 2014. In 2016, Mr. Lane was named General Manager of European operations, overseeing the Stavanger, Norway and Rzeszow, Poland facilities. During his time with Heli-One he has demonstrated a track record of streamlining operations in conjunction with championing investment in growth areas.

Mr. Lane has previously held various leadership roles in consumer goods, healthcare and consulting companies in a number of countries. He has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and two postgraduate honors degrees in finance and accounting from the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa, in addition to a postgraduate diploma from Manchester Business School International. Mr. Lane will continue to be based in Stavanger, Norway, where he resides with his family.
