March 7, 2019 – Atlanta - Heli-One, a leading provider of helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has announced the hiring of Fernando Fernandes to the Sales and Business Development team. He will focus on growing Heli-One's presence and finding business development opportunities in Brazil.
Fernandes has strong experience in the Brazilian offshore market, having previously worked at industry leaders such as Lider Aviation, Maersk Oil, and Aeroleo in helicopter services sales-oriented roles. His most recent role before Heli-One was with Aeroleo, where he was a leader in the commercial department focusing on building relationships within the offshore market and developing corporate best practices. Fernandes also has extensive experience handling complex bid and tender projects. This includes helping Aeroleo utilize the AW139 for the first time in supporting offshore projects for customers.
