February 29, 2016 – Delta, British Columbia, Canada – Heli-One, a leading global provider of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services company, has entered an agreement with Avion Pacific Limited to jointly explore developing helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services as well as helicopter product services in China.
Avion Pacific is the leader in China's general and business aviation service industry. They provide international OEMs and Chinese operators with services and products including: part services, aviation operations support, training programs, leasing and financing facilitation, and aviation consulting.
Heli-One is a Certified Maintenance Organization by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and has four helicopter MRO facilities with locations in Canada, the United States, Poland, and Norway. Heli-One’s capabilities include nose-to-tail services for helicopter airframes, components, and engines and an extensive design and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) portfolio.
Heli-One and Avion Pacific have worked together for a number of years and will now explore the requirements of helicopter operators in China to better understand how they can provide maintenance support.
