March 9, 2016 – Stavanger, Norway - Heli-One, the world’s largest independent provider of helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, has completed the 9,000 HR G-Check on a H225 for a major operator in the North Sea. The maintenance was performed at Heli-One’s Stavanger facility in Norway, and marks the first major H225 inspection for that operator.
Heli-One became the preferred partner in this contract due to its extensive H225 heavy maintenance experience, comprehensive onsite OEM approvals, and D Level structural repair capabilities. Heli-One also employed some unique proprietary repair procedures for this G-Check, resulting in cost savings being passed onto the operator.
